  تفاقمت في الآونة الأخيرة أزمة الكنائس المسيحية في القدس مع السلطات الإسرائيلية، وخصوصاً الكنيسة الأرثوذكسية صاحبة المساحات الأكبر من الأراضي والعقارات داخل المدينة المقدسة، حول مشروع القانون المقترح في الكنيست الذي يقضي بمصادرة الأملاك المباعة من الكنائس لمستثمرين خصوصيين. وقد بعث رؤساء الكنائس المسيحية الثلاثة، الأرثوذكسي، والكاثوليكي، والأرمني، برسالة تحذيرية عاجلة الى رئيس الحكومة الإسرائيلية بنيامين نتانياهو، يطالبونه فيها بوقف مشروع القانون المقترح حول بيع الأراضي الوقفية ومصادرتها. (…)

  كانت تبكي فرحاً وتوصفّ لي المشهد الذي لا أستطيع أن أراه عن طريق محادثتي لها بواسطة برنامج للأنترنت اسمه " السكاي بي" كانت سعيدة وهي تخبرني عن منظر الفئران الاسرائيلية وهم يختبؤون في مجاري الصرف الصحي , كانت نبرة صوتها ترقص وهي تروي لي المشهد الذي لم تراه منذ ٤٠ سنة وهو عمرها الافتراضي في هذه البلدة الفلسطينية . وكانت الدهشة تغمرها وأنا أرى تعابير وجهها التي ستنفجر غبطة مما ترى وتسمع وكان الدنيا لا تسع حدود ضحكتها بل تريد أن تتمزق و تصير بطول الخط الاستوائي عرضاً.

  بصرف النظر عن طبيعة الحكم العشوائي الذي كان قائماً في ليبيا بقيادة العقيد المغدور معمر القذافي، فقد كان الزعيم الليبي الراحل رجلاً ذا نكهة في السياسة العربية والدولية. ومما يزيد من طعم نكهته ان الذين انقلبوا عليه من اهل حكمه، بدفع من قوى خارجية، كانوا طيلة عقود ينفذون ارادته من غير نقاش، وهم الذين ارتكبوا بأيديهم ما نسبوه تالياً اليه لادانته. واسطع دليل على ذلك مصطفى عبدالجليل رئيس المجلس الانتقالي نفسه الذي كان وزيراً للعدل في زمن القذافي، حيث كانت العدالة في ايامه عدالة قراقوشية تشهد عليها (…)

• Barak Approves More Settlement Units Before Heading To Talk “Peace” in Washington

  Hours before he took off to Washington for talks with the US administration on peace and settlements, Israeli Army Minister, Ehud Barak, approved the construction of a new settlement in the so-called Benyamin region.
