• Arabs to strike against ’wave of racism’

  The Higher Arab Monitoring Committee announced on Wednesday that it will hold a general strike next month in protest of the government’s policies.   Thousands of Arab-Israelis on Monday demonstrated against what they called Israel’s "racism" at a rally commemorating the killing of six people in a 1976 protest against land grabs.
